The two Chippendale Five Drawer chests were modeled after a chest featured in the book The New Fine Points of Furniture Early American on page 97. This chest is built from South American Mahogany, the secondary lumber is Yellow Poplar. The chest features five graduated drawers, the chests dimensions are 33 1/2″ h x 32 1/4″w x 20 1/2″ d. The chest features Chippendale escutcheon style pulls.
The Case tops for both chest is from a single board of Mahogany lumber.
