Robert M. LaPlaca worked in the Information Technology field for 30 years. Robert always had great interest in period furniture, building many pieces of 18th century furniture for personal use and commissions.

Mr. LaPlaca published a construction article for the magazine American Period Furniture 2014 Journal of the Society of American Period Furniture Makers,  for the Boston Blockfront chest.
